In snow a thinner tire is more efficient, however if its just cold weather on dry roads you won't see the same benefit.

I think you are golden either way, although personally I prefer the blizzak
Seems like you've got some good experience.

So would you give two thumbs up for

255-35-19 LM32 (X4) for the RCF? Or still not safe enough..?

(located in Toronto if that matters)

I think 255 would look pretty stretched on the rears, if your using the oem wheels. 10" rear

Hey 4Everkidd - can you repost the pics of the 18" Volks? Those links are dead in the other thread they're in. I'm waiting for a set of 19" MHT Misanos, but if they don't fit I'd like a backup plan. 18" is definitely my preference if possible.

I never ended up fully mounting the 18" TE37's. The tolerance was minimal and I was worried about a rock getting between the caliper and inner barrel. They gravel the roads here in the winter and it would have been a legitimate concern.

Went with another 19" option instead

19" Volk Progressive ME

Cool - Thanks. Where did you get them? I'm in SK and there aren't many Volk dealers here.

I'd suggest hitting up Jimmy at Vex Performance in Calgary. He will set you up.

what tires did you go with?
I just got mine installed today too. Blizzak LM32 here.

Also Orange RCF here, in Toronto. Are you one of the few others with the orange one in GTA? Here's a pic of mine:

I ended up going with the Toyo garit KX. Its what was quickest to get in.
No I am not in To. I am about an hour west in Kitchener.
Picked up this past Thursday and I installed on friday. Not exactly fair for the car to be broken in over the winter but.... oh well.
Nice looking car! Cheers

I just hope the LM32 is okay for winters in Greater Toronto Area.... priority is safety, and I don't want to buy a winter beater if I don't have to...

Default Rcf winter setup

Bought Pirelli sotozeros in stock oem size for my rcf... Doesn't look like its gonna snow here in Long Island this winter but definitely much better traction/performance in rain and low temps.

My local tire shop found some wheels that fit - Niche Misano (part # M1161985-GD6.0833). Michelin XIce Xi3 245/40-19 all around. Some very slight and sporadic fender liner rubbing at parking lot speeds, usually in reverse while riding the brake, and not at full lock. Tires seem to be good on ice, and the finish on these wheels should hold up to the salt abuse.
