I think the ML system in the RCF is pretty damn good for OEM. If you want better sound dampening, you could always apply some second skin or dynamat.
I'm looking into it. Thanks for the suggestion. The Sound deadening coating on the nuclear submarine I used to ride around in used it to good effect...worth a try. A gallon is only 100 bucks and videos suggest only a quart is needed per wheel well.
Happy to see that other owners are underwhelmed with the sound quality of the "extra $pecial" Mark Levinson system in this car. I expected the separation to be poor (small space), I expected the sound to be thin (small speakers), but I didn't expect how poorly the system compensates for road noise. I don't know if an active sound canceling system would be helpful, though.
The limiting factor(s) in the ML unit are using a Class-D AMP to power ALL channels and using PAPER for the woofer speakers
The deck is a PIONEER unit which has decent small signal processing.
Where did you get the speaker wiring diagram? I am looking for LC500 (2021) model with ML.
I believe RCF and LC500 use the same ML but want to have right diagram.
