Default Wrapping the chrome trim

Has anyone here had experience with wrapping their chrome trim. I have an obsidian RC and the chrome around the windows and grill drive me nuts. Lots of vinyl to choose from, just wondering if anyone feels the same way and had explored this option at all.

You can use black Plastic-Dip spray.

I was thinking the same thing. It's fairley easy since the piece is so narrow. I would never plastic dip it.

i had this done on my 335i and it turned out great and no one could tell it was wrap. I wouldn't plastidip unless you just want to see what it will look like wrapped before spending the money.

Plasti dip the sides, but I would black wrap the grille surround- gloss black.

I have Plasti dipped all chrome and brushed aluminum on my last 2 SUVs. If done right it looks just like the matte black ABS plastic pieces and it does last.

I had planned on wrapping my sides but now surprisingly like the chrome. After wrapping the roof I decided not to go full black and white Stormtrooper.

Agreed on plasti dip, stay far away, it looks tacky and fades over time, chips, ect

I'll be wrapping my grille Thursday gloss black.

I agree though, I actually like the chrome pieces around the windows, adds class
