Default Brakes Squeeking

Fist post so be gentle. I have had my RC-F since November and two days after having it the brakes have been squeaking. I had thought that It would work its way out just had figured since it was new it had to work its way off of the brake pads. I have 1100 Miles on it now and it is still squeaking. I am taking it in on Monday to have them look at it.

Has any one else had this issue yet and did it work itself out. Or have you guys seen any other problems small like this?

Mine has the same issue since day one. The car has close to 300 miles on it the break still squeaks. It is kind of embarrassing when the car does it in a crowded parting lot. Mine GS OEM breaks has the same problem until I replaced with aftermarket break pads.

Yes, ALL Brembo brakes squeek, from Jeep's to Maserati's....

See the Service Manager, they will likely replace the Brake Pads at no charge...

If you did not seat in the brake pads, that could also be the problem.

Just ask Lexus to do a free pad replacement. Seat in the new brake pads.

Mine dust like crazy (as expected) but DO NOT squeak as all ... 750 miles. I'll be changing to Carbotech low dust pads as soon as available.

Are the front rotors not the exact same as the isf? It's not like that's a new brembo caliper. I bet carbotech already has pads that work.

Totally new caliper front and rear --- does not match anything Carbotech has in inventory. I'm working with them and have provided them a full set of photos and measurements to confirm.

hopefully they will have something soon.

A quick fix for squeaky brakes on the IS-F is to simply hose the brake dust off the wheels/disks/calipers. This will probably work for the RC too. I'm surprised this hasn't been mentioned yet.

Can't hose off my Brembos every 20 miles. Drought conditions in CA

Metallic Pads...they are going to squeak.

You bought a high performance car....you get high performance breaking and all the perks that come along with it lol

Brembos are famous for this. Same issue I had on my 09 WRX STI....didn't care as they worked great.
