Default Carbon fiber builds

Does anyone have any idea when they will start building the carbon fiber models for delivery in the U.S.?
I have mine on order and the dealership (JM in Florida) says they will know something in February. Just wondering if someone has heard anything different.

I've been told the PP (Performance Package) models will be hitting showroom floors this January.

My lexus rep said he suspected it might not be released until 2016! Hope not.
But that is why I took a non carbon model sooner than later.

Default Carbon build

I believe Lexus will start building the carbon model in January/February as they cannot put off the build till 16. They are doing a production run of 2500 RC F's and the original count I heard was that 20% were regular builds and 80% were carbon. With the delay I imagine the percentages balanced a bit as people didn't want to wait till March of 15 to get the car.
Lexus can't afford to put production off for a year as it wouldn't be good PR for a brand new model to be delayed an entire year. Especially since they want to release the GS F next year.
Hoping you are wrong and I check with my dealership every two weeks to hope for an update that my RC F is being built.
Bought my wife a NX F Sport last week so we can have something to play with lol. White with red interior like my RC F will be. NX has nu lux but my RC F will be leather

I am dealing with the GM at my dealership. How can I see that mine went to ordered status. I have the build sheet the GM supplied me with all the options I am getting. Where on that sheet would I see my RC F went to ordered status?

It would be in the vehicle change tab on his dealerdaily. He would be able to get you a screen shot showing its ordered but there isn't anything else he can print yet

You should be able to secure the order number from the GM.

Sorry for a dumb question, what is the difference between the carbon version versus regular beside carbon hood, roof and spoiler? Are they any other than that? Thanks

In the USA you will get Carbon Roof & Wing + TVD rear end...

In other markets where applicable, they get the added CF Hood.
