Default HIGH Pressure Fuel Pump Recall

The high pressure fuel pump recall was created back in 2018 and I was wondering if any Canadian 2015 Lexus RC F owners had theirs replaced?

On the US recall NHTSA Recall No. 18V-107 states vehicles affected:
2016-2018 Lexus GS F
2018 Lexus LC500
2015-2018 Lexus RC F

But the CAD recall Transport Canada 2018-091 states vehicles affected:
2015-2018 Lexus GS F
2018 Lexus LC500
2016-2018 Lexus RC F

Looks like there is an error on the CAD recall where the GS F and RC F model years were switched. There is no 2015 Lexus GS F and appears it should've been a 2015 Lexus RC F. I contacted Lexus (Toyota) but received no reply. This would be a safety concern driving around due to a simple mistake. I was wondering if anyone else noticed this and got some closure?

Yes, mine were both replaced on the front side back in circa 2018 or 2019 by Lexus of Royal Oak, Calgary.

How did it get brought up? Was it notified through your Lexus dealership or did you bring it up?

You should be able to "claim" your VIN in the Lexus Driver's website and see the full service history. That way you'll know if they've been replaced or not. Does Canada have a government website where you can check recall status? That would be another way to check.

I called Lexus Canada and they have confirmed that it was replaced on my 2015 Lexus RC F by the previous owner in 2018. Carfax didn't show it which is why I was concerned.

Regardless, Transport Canada does have the incorrect model and years listed but Lexus Canada will honour it.
