Default What’s your best RC F review on YouTube Part 2

There’s a thread that was created in 2022 with some good YouTube reviews. I figured I would start a new Part 2 thread. I definitely watched lots of RC F reviews before buying mine, and now that I own one, I still enjoy them as a true enthusiast.

Which are your best YouTube reviews of the RC F.

“Hot or Not…verdict: Hot” This review also has a great discussion on TVD and how it works.

“This is the black sheep of the Lexus family. That 5L V8 is basically a proverbial middle finger to all those Lexus hybrids, ES, and RX.”

This video is Matt Farah and his cameraman on an extended drive where they touch on lots of the car’s aspects.

This video is the best RC F review in Spanish I have seen out there, for those of you who know Spanish. This guy has reviewed the RC F a few times and has nothing but praise. He also has a review on the LFA on his YouTube channel.

This reviewer literally drifted an RCF with one arm and one leg. This was a mock against Clarkson who tried to drift it in expert mode, which is the wrong mode. Calls it one of the best handling cars he has ever driven

Another good review by some youtuber. He sums it up well "engine, suspension and brakes are the highlight of this car"

Not really a review but thought I’d post anyway. Gives you an idea of what a few people think of when they see our RC Fs in the wild. English translation for what he says: “Makes me want to give up one of my kidneys for this car” LOL.

Jubbal & cars has some good RCF reviews. He really is impressed with the car other being critical of the weight.

Sleeper car on Rodeo Dr…I’ve read before from others how common it is in Cali to see exotic cars but not an RC F in sight.

Good review. Was surprised when he said the steering felt a bit floaty. I love my 2016's steering. Could be the tires or the torque vectoring, but the steering feels very directly, heavy and even at slow speeds, no dead spots.

I commented on that and this is what he said:

"I'm not sure floaty was the right word to use, looking back. It's quite responsive and nimble, especially for its overall size. What I was trying to convey is that it's not a super tight and tossable sports car experience like a 911 or anything. Common knowledge not to expect that, yes, but the publication I originally made this video for tended to cater to those "less enthusiastic" enthusiasts"

Good stuff, I haven’t felt any dead spots at slow speeds either. Another interesting observation on the reviewer’s part was the mismatched coloring stitching on the interior. That can be attributed to Lexus being Lexus, no rhyme or reason.

Not really a review, just a walk around. Interesting to note the video description says this has a performance package and is from the Toronto Auto Show. It caught my attention because this is the Flare Yellow which in the US you can only get this color with the Carbon package added, which adds CF rocker panel splitters and CF rear diffuser (post face lift US models). So looking at this Flare Yellow without this extra CF makes it look odd to me. This is probably for the Canada market.

Which leads to the question, why doesn’t Lexus just give Canada CF rocker panel splitters and CF rear diffuser? Have Canadian buyers not noticed this to complain to Lexus why the US gets extra stuff? I’ve posted about this before, similar to why for some reason other markets can have the option for a factory CF hood on a non-TE edition, but in the US CF hood is not an option on the base model. Lexus being Lexus I guess.

Yeah, I have noticed that too a while back. Must be cost savings due to the exchange rate.
