Default Transmission feels jerky–anyone else?

RC350 F Sport AWD 50k miles transmission feels jerky. Sometimes when trying to accelerate fast the transmission will hesitate and jerk into a lower gear before pulling. Sometimes car also jerks slightly when going into reverse.

But most annoying of all, the car would shudder when coming to a stop. Literally right before the car comes to a full stop it will shudder/shake a bit. Like from 1mph to 0mph. This happens every time I come to a stop and it's not the brakes because it happened when the brakes were new too.

Does anyone else have this issue? Would a transmission flush help?

Don't ever flush an auto trans.

Have the fluid drained, the filter changed, and fresh fluid put in. Im doing this today to my RC.

Gotcha thanks, are you experiencing similar symptoms? And how much does the dealer charge for the drain and refill?

I agree, get the fluid changed. Had some of those symptoms before my change, it now drives perfectly. Go to a Lexus dealership, Toyota dealership messed up my change and filled it two quarts low. It was like $230 at the Lexus dealership for me.

I would change the transmission fluid and it should fix it. My IS350 F-Sport AWD has the same transmission and at 28,000 KM, no jerkiness. It is very smooth. A bit too smooth as it is more "slushbox" feel as opposed to the violent and very aggressive shifts in say, my RCF (where torque converter is completely dealt out of the equation in manual mode).
