Footwell lights not working?
". . . the RC forum isn’t as active as the GS side. . . "
Yes, and that's a reflection of the extreme good taste and bold fashion sense of RC owners to pick a car that's a bit out of the mainstream and not a big seller. Two door coupes look great, but are not much in favor these days. I get a lot of comments from kind strangers commenting on how much they like the looks of my swell car, and its striking color (infrared), and then they ask what it is.
I love that stuff.

I had a 2015 Lexus IS250 F Sport in white...and I got tired of seeing it everywhere and anywhere. It didn't feel special if that makes any sense.
With regards to Footwell lights, it just happens that I got playful hands with attention to detail. I'm that person who really presses all the buttons inside the cabin and remembers what each button is for. Good thing that Lexus have not replace the "eject cd button" with "eject seat button" or else I will always get thrown away.
Same reason I went to trade-in my FBO IS300 with all the goodies in it. Outside, it's very common. Different experience now with the RC, I get honks all the time and people talk to me in gas stations. Seems like I got a friendly car.

I figured most of the newer cars all have the same buttons and features , but a button to choose wether or not you want footwell lighting and overhead lighting seems very strange to me , but what the hell do I know at 42 . I still listen to cds , and think all the music from 2000 and up sucks !!!
A button to allow or disallow the main ceiling light to turn on when the door is opened is pretty standard on cars these days. What Lexus did in this car is connect the footwell lighting to that button also. The footwell lighting is so dim that apparently nobody noticed for years.
They do but on my first years of hopping inside Toyota/Lexus cars, I find these buttons imperceivable even if they are literally visible to my eyes. That feeling that you won't pay attention because you are so focused(or hypnotized in this matter) on what the car can do. Still can't stop staring on this car when it's parked.
You have no idea how many civics , accords , and tlx are in Columbus , as they are made 30 mins away . I had a blue accord sport and quite frankly got tired of seeing 15 of them a day so when carmax offered 21,500 I stood and looked at them in utter disbelief . I couldn’t sign the paperwork fast enough !!! I told them to ship the RC they had on the lot in Cincinnati and 2 days later the accord was gone , Dont get me wrong the accord was a great looking car , but the quality level is night and day with Lexus .

across has been in the latest years. I grew up on rock, and progressive rock, it's out there, you just have to look.
