Brake Lights won't Turn Off
Recently, I started to experience issues with the tail lights and brake light. The lights aren't going off even though the car is in park and no brakes are applied.
Could it be an issue with the brake switch?
Any thoughts? Appreciate your help!

This happened to my cousin a few years ago on her old Honda Accord. If you stick your head under the dashboard, above your brake pedal you'll find the brake switch. The green object in this photo of a 2016 Lexus RC is called is a brake switch stopper which is used to depress a momentary switch (blue object) that turns off your brake lights when you release the brake pedal. Check to see if this is broken or missing. If this is the case, this is an easy fix. You can have Lexus fix it under warranty for free if applicable , pay them a small fortune to replace it, or DIY for something that cost less than $20. It's simply just snapping in a new one.
