Default Sub par audio system

Hey everyone,
Just picked up a 2015 RC 350 F Sport and must say the audio system is lacking to say the least. Looking for advice on what would be the best way to move forward to have it sound at least as good as my wife's BMW 5 series. So here are the options I am looking at.

1. Replace the 8" sub in the rear deck with an aftermarket and stay with stock amp $
2. Replace the 8" sub in the rear deck with an aftermarket and upgrade amp as well $$
3. Add 2 8' or 10" subs to trunk if I can find someone who makes the boxes that mount in the rear corners for this model, if not a shallow box to save space $$$
4. Install underseat powered subs (BMW has these from factory) $$$$
5. Replace all speakers including sub with higher quality aftermarket $$$$$

This is the setup I had in my 06 IS350. Kept all stock speakers and added this with an amp. Sounded great! Looking to do the same with the RC.

This is the setup I did in my GS350, JL Audio Powerwedge with 2 TW1 12" paired with a JL audio JD500/1 Mono amp. The box is pretty shallow in depth only 8.7" for having 2 12" so it does not take up much trunk space. They have the same box with 2 10" thats even shallower, so this might fit your option 3. And let me tell you it sounds amazing the bass hits hard and I have the gain set 1 tick below mid. All the factory speakers remain and I dont have ML but inside the car its clear all the mids..highs and the bass with just some license plate rattle.
