I have a 2019 RC350 and have an annoying rattle that is coming from the passenger side C pillar. It sounds like someone is tapping the window with a metallic object, when I ever go over less than smooth road - think jiggery with small bumps.
I think is coming from an area above the top of the window near the roof lining and the airbag cutout- see photo. It comes and goes but has gotten more frequent over the last few months.
‘I’ve been to the dealer, but of course the car knows it’s at the dealership and it refuses to cooperate and make the noise. They insulated around the speaker area but it has made no difference.
‘Has anyone experienced this, or alternatively can advise how I can remove that trim?

Never heard of a rattle issue back there. And metallic noise as well... that would drive me nuts. The only thing i can think of would be a loose bolt/nut coupling. Pulling the headliner is not that difficult if your up to it. You should be able to see or feel what the issue is from there.
