Default 0-60 time for rc base

I currently have an 2021 Avalon xle which hits 60 (with some tweaks) in 5.5 seconds. What’s the Lexus rc specs. My friend wants a car that can beat mine.

thanks everyone

The official spec from Lexus is 4.2 seconds 0-60. According to Car and Driver during testing the 2020 the RC F zipped to 60 in just 4.1 seconds.

You are asking about the base RC so that is a different forum. I believe, the RC350 is around 5.3 - 5.4 seconds and the RC300/200t are in the 5.9 - 6.2 seconds. BTW, this forum is for RCF (5.0 Liter V8 472 HP), which is around 3.9 - 4.1 seconds depending on the test.

The RC350 does 0-60 in around 5.7 seconds stock. An exhaust and intake would probably get it close to 5.5 seconds.

IIRC my Ford F150 with the 3.5 V-6 turbo does 0 to 60 in 5.7. I have shocked many people off the line with it.

Not a great site, to be honest. It does not have the fastest times listed for most cars. As an example, RCF has done 4.1 seconds and it is not listed there.

I don’t even know why 0-60 is in any form a reasonable measurement for acceleration. 0-60 mag times can be easily manipulated. 1/4 mile is a better measurement and even that measurement in mags is suspicious.

Our cars usually tend to be better rolling. We don’t have AWD, we don’t have turbos that give us massive torque, and our cars tip at 3900-4000lbs. Most of the “races” online won by RCFs are rolling.

0-60 mph depends on traction a lot off the line, which is why AWD cars with relatively low 1/4 mile trap speeds, run great 0-60 mph. It also helps 1/4 mile times.

Though, I agree RCF's best acceleration performance comes from rolling starts. 30 - 40 mph in 1st gear rolling or 50 mph in 2nd gear rolling in manual/sport+ mode. Though, the ETC I put on the car makes the car react so much reactive off the line that it feels like beast with so much initial burst of power on tap right in the 1st 3 - 4 inches of the throttle input.
