Default Analog clock runs fast

Hi all, My 2015 rc clock all of the sudden began to gain time overnight.(Worked fine for years) I assumed because the original the battery was 5 years old..... so i proactivley replaced the battery... Clock still runs fast. Any ideas?? The part itself aint cheap or i would just replace the clock. Help!!
