Default New Tires

My wife's RC was in need of new tires, especially the rear, the stockers were almost slick and past the wear bars. The front still had decent tread on them, but I switched those anyway. We were going to order new wheels and tires but since the rear tires were in bad shape I just went ahead and ordered the tires first. We used General G-Max RS in sizes 245/40/19 for the front and 275/35/19 for the rear. I also had 20mm front spacers installed as well as 25mm rear. This is absolutely the way this car should have came from Lexus! The tires sit perfectly flush with the fenders, no poking and no tucking. They are perfect! Way more of an aggressive look than stock. Pics to come soon.

Your tires/wheels stick out just a bit, Lexus/Toyota, cars sold in the US market cannot be sold like that as it's against DOT standards.

You ever see an RCF with that little plastic thing on the rear fenders? The reason that's there is because Lexus could not legally sell it or get it approved for the US market without it, otherwise the wheels/tires stick out past the fender lol

I promise they don't stick out past the top of the fender. The pics may make them look as if they do, but to see the car in person you can tell.

That’s actually the reason the camber fad started. In Europe they couldn’t have wheels sticking out so they ran huge wheels hella

Do you have the link for the spacers you used?

Thanks!

Here is where the rear spacers came from, they were Ichiba. The front were just generic ones off of Amazon, but they were hub centric to the car. https://www.b2autodesigns.com/#/

I got the ones for the IS. They are the same hub and bolt pattern.

That car is long gone now, but it made the car look more aggressive for sure. It was a lease car so I didn't want to lower it, but the spacers made it look so much better.

Now my wife is driving a new 2021 IS 350 F Sport, UW with Red interior.
