Default Remote Starting RC

So I have watched a lot of the RC 350 Videos on the car and all the options, etc...
I have tried to do the remote start with my key fob and it isn't working... Can you all remote start your car with the key fob?
Just to be sure of the process:
1: make sure your car is locked
2: Press the lock button 2 times
3: on the 3rd press and hold button until car starts

an app you'd need to download. They actually now offer monthly plans and they seem to be a bit more affordable.

So I went online and registered for the lexus enform app suite... but still have no idea how that will let me remote start my car?

Can anyone else chime in and give me info about the remote start feature?

Thanks in advance.

It would be a mess to try to explain all of this Enform stuff. App suite is not what you want. Look around on https://www.lexus.com/enform/ it will explain every aspect of enform. In order for your remote start to work, you need a subscription to Lexus enform safety connect and remote. Download "Lexus" app (Black lexus logo) and create an account. Add the VIN of your car, and pay for whichever services you want. Very simple.

As mentioned above, you will need to download the iPhone or Android app and subscribe to a plan which suits your fancy. Some options include only remote start, RS with vehicle location services, etc.
I've shared some pics below which show what the app looks like. Once you log into the app, you simply press the start engine button in the middle.

Did you know you can use your key fob to also remote start your car?

Lexus has recently switched to a new app called "Lexus". The old one still works, but I find the new one to be much more functional and aesthetically pleashing.

Thanks for sharing Nebula1. I just downloaded and it appears to work fine so far, though I do not have my car back just yet. The status messages are consistent with the original enform app. I do like the level of detail in this app but the simplicity of the original better. From a functional perspective, time will tell but the enform app really doesn't have issues that I've noticed in a while. The deciding factors for me may be that:

1. There doesn't appear to be an option for facial recognition password protection. (Also when leaving the app, no need to log in again, which is a security issue imo.)
2. They dont have a picture of the RC, wth!

Thanks again!
I got an Error sign when I had to input the VIN into the App. ...Had to call Lexus .
I had to register my self as the new driver of the car with Lexus.
I have to do it by mail.... send them Title.... Bill of Sale.... or Insurance registration in my name and address before I can registrer my VIN in the App.
But it shouldn't be long before I get this App working.

The new info on the App is good to know.

Theres an easier method of doing this. You can hit the SOS button and talk to a lexus rep, then that serves as proof of ownership. Thats how i setup enform in both of my preowned lexus's.
