I have a 2016 and it is a complete "redesign" that word means different thing to different folks.

Put the 2018 next to a 2019, obviously it was redesigned. Not just physically, but driving dynamics as well. Call it whst you want but it’s indeed a redesign or version 2.0 if you will.

Look no further than the 2020 RX redesign. Subtle but still a redesign.

He's asking when a full model change will be (i.e. the 2nd generation RC). Mid-model updates (facelift done on an existing design) are not typically what people refer to as a "redesign" of a vehicle, because it's really just a redesign of a small part of the vehicle. There has only been one generation of Lexus RC.

THANK YOU! That's exactly what I was talking about. Just like the 1st Gen IS versus the 2nd Gen IS. Complete change from one car to another. Not the 2nd-3rd Gen IS. Its essentially the same body style with improvements.

I don't really think of the 2019/20 RC as a new car we haven't seen before. Some people do and that's alright.
