Default CAI - What brand is this?

Hi folks. I just picked up my new to me 2017 RC 350 a few weeks ago. I was blessed to stumble upon one locally, at a dealership, that had already been modified in ways that’s i would like. It also saved me money, bonus. Only 17,000 miles, and appeared new inside.

It has RSR Superdown Springs, it has an ARK exhaust with burnt tips. The roof has been vinyled and the reverse tail lights tinted. It also has a cold air intake, but I’m unsure of what the brand is. Hoping one of you could help.

Well I thought that might have been, but all the takedas I have seen have had the name on them, and a blue filter.

I can take a look when I get home at my Takeda, but I dont think It has the name anywhere on it. And they also offer a blue and gray filter.

The reverse tail lights were tinted? Mine were not bright enough when I bought the car, so I replaced them with LCDs to get lots of extra light so I can see what's behind me in the dark. I hope JD took care of this after acquiring the car.

And the Takeda name is a sticker so it might've been removed to maintain a low profile if pulled over

Thanks. No, I haven’t changed the tinted tail lights. No plans to for now. It’s a light tint and I haven’t had any issues with seeing at night at all.

Thanks for the replies! I didn’t realize they had black filters. I knew it looked like theirs. Very helpful.

The color of the filter indicates if you have the dry or oiled filter.

I really want to switch to the dry filter. Once my oiled takeda gets dirty Ill pick one up. dont want to have to deal with filter oil.

The thing about an oiled filter is that it can be washed. The oil is usually in a pump spray bottle so it's not very messy to use.

My understanding is that dry filters can be washed as well...you wash them with soap and water and just let them dry,..
