Success...Custom badging mod

So I have been trying to accent my badges with the paint I put on my calipers and engine cover. After 4 months and like 7 attempts...success!

So I will have to redo half of the pieces. Sprayed clear coat and it had a reaction with the black paint. Will need to strip the paint and re-try it.

did you use plastidip and glossifier?? i'm interested in it for my IS as the black pearl emblems are a tad too light for me

No....used Rustoleum matte black and then a clear coat. These picks were actually taken before the clear coat and the clear coat reacted and jacked up a few pieces. I am in the process of re-doing it but will post picks when installed. Trying to figure out how to get the F-Sport badges done the same way.
