Since i'm getting some custom work done for my trunk right now so i mite as well paint my emblems. But the question is what color of paint i gotta use to get the black pearl finish???

 

I think you can have your shop just spray it candy, its a transparent black. should work just the same? someone correct me if im wrong. just have the guy tint it to your desired color

Why u dont think black pearl emblems goes well with our white cars? I been debating about it too haha but i was like mite as well since i'm taking it off already to repaint my entire trunk.

 

I just think it looks tacky for some reason, unless it's the actual BPEs.

 

I have black pearl emblems, and I have also seen some that are painted. Not sure if its the way the owner painted it, but it looked tacky. If you did paint, try to add a bit of clear/gloss. Any other way would look like a spray paint type of job.
