Default 2 door Camry

Saw the updated 2019 RC at the local dealer.
In the flesh, car looked like a 2 door Camry.
Maybe because it was a base model (nonF sport) in white.
Interior virtually identical to 2018 RC and no promised apple CarPlay.
Current model IMO much more aggressive looking and distinctive.

You are not wrong. I'm getting rid of my RC next year and getting an RC F or the LC 500 (All depends on if the track edition of RC F looks/price/speed). I personally think it looks ugly minus a few things (Just my opinion)

My wife had a '99 Solara for 10 years and while she enjoyed it I can assure you the RC (any engine) is NOT a Camry.
The handling of the Solara was basic near luxury at best and stepped out badly when hitting bumps in a corner.

You forced me to google what a Camry is. And your thread is bascially a giant clickbait. Interior is different, lines in the interior are different, center console is different, seats are different. Outside seem very different too.

Thank you for the loss of time. I will remember you miop4000.

I don't disagree. I saw a new F-Sport at my dealership when doing some warranty work a week ago. The dealership had a drive-in reception area where my car was visually lined up along side (behind glass) the new RC, hands down the previous generation looks better. The new car definitely has some nice internal refinements, but overall it's meh.

I’m sorry, but the Camry IMHO looks better inside and out. It is more modern, particularly the interior and has has an electronic park break and available 360 camera with head up display in some markets.

The current RC is an amazingly aggressive and good looking car. I feel Lexus has toned down the 2019 RC due to the initial hostile reception of the design particularly from people like Top Gear’s Clarkson.

You don't have to be sorry. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion just like Clarkson. The problem is Toyota/Lexus are so far behind the curve when it comes to electronics that you have to forgive them for that and just like the looks. My choice for looks is the RC F Sport but I'm a little biased.
