Default New Navigation system

Hi All...first post in here so hoping I have this in the right area (if not please point me in the right direction)
I am enjoying my new 2018 RC 350 F Sports but I have an issue with the navigation system/settings and i am hoping someone can help as the dealer that I brought the car from were not able to help as they say its all new.
When using the navigation system to get directions the directions voice does not lower the sound of the music so that it can be heard. So if you are enjoying the Mark Levinsion system to its fullest (as I do) you are not able to hear any voice commands for the navigation.
I have read the manual over and over and I am hoping it is just a setting that I have not found to fix this.
Thanks in advance for any help with this.

nope no fix my 2015 RCF has the same issue,, if the radio volume is above ~15 or so, even with the Nav volume at its highest, which i think is 7, I can't hear the commands.

I don't bother with the OEM navigation, I use my phone, at least it is smart enough to mute the music stream during voice prompts.

Thank you for your feedback.
Even the most basic of navigation systems will lower the music to hear voice commands.
Lets hope its something they can and will fix in a firmware update.

On a side note. Do you know if there is a way to have your album art stay up when you are in drive. Mine will only show while I am in Park which is about as useful as *****....well you can guess the rest LOL

well on the 2015 we have the smaller screen so we only get the nav map or the audio display, we don't have the dual display the 2018's get with the 10" screen. so my album art is always up as I seldom put the map on 99% of the time I leave the Bluetooth media display on.

however the album art is only about 60% accurate from what I can tell, most of the time I either get a blank image or a picture of the blue tooth logo, and this is because there is no album art in the database for what I am listening to, or if there is it tends to be wrong. The one that bothers me the most is any piano music, be it Phillip Wesley, Ludovico Eeinaudi, or Michelle McLaughlin for example, and I get a picture of Duke Ellington every time, and every Guns & Roses song has the Appetite for destruction art, and every Motley Crue has the Dr. Feelgood art.

Thanks mjeds for your comments.
On the new nav systems when playing a song from my iPhone through Bluetooth which has album art attached the art is shown on the screen while in park. As soon as I move in to drive the art is replaced by the Bluetooth symbol.
If I move back in to park then the album art is displayed again. This happens in both full screen and split screen mode. Such a strange thing to do since when in your car you are in drive 99.9% of the time.
Hoping that this is just a setting I am missing and not a characteristic of the audio system.

Thanks in advance
