Default Power for a Radar Detector

i guess I’m just realizing this, but is the power port in the console really the only one? As the title states, I want to plug in a radar detector.

The car is leased so I was hoping to avoid a direct connection, but that may be my only choice.

Anyone else have have any other suggestions?

This is on a 2017 F-Sport.

They are the only ones.

yes. That’s what I said originally, that I may have no choice bu to do a direct wire.

I have always done the radar detector direct wiring on my cars for over 20 years, but this car stumped me. I finally took it to an audio installation shop, and they knew just what to do; the boss said that they do radar detector wiring all the time. It was not too expensive, it works perfectly (switched power) and it took me no time, other than all the hours I wasted trying to find the right wires inside the car. (I hear that they are in the mirror harness, but I could not find them.)
That's all the help I can give you here.

Thank you. Same with me. I have always done my own direct connections, but ended up paying to have it done on my CTS-V which was pretty inexpensive.

For my wife’s BMW X5, I couldn’t find a stereo shop that would touch it. I had to go to BMW directly and they raped me for $160.
