Default Lost power to 12v Lighter Socket

I spliced my signal wire into the 12v lighter socket wire, and it worked great for a couple days and now it just suddenly lost all power! Whats up with that? If i blew a fuse doesnt that mean all the things on that harness would have lost power? The green leds for the 12v socket and the ashtray still come on!

Ahhh this keep hapenning to me What am i doing wrong?

you probably have too much draw on the one circuit now. if you're sure everything is wired correctly then you can bump the fuse up to a higher rating.

You shouldn't be powering an amp via the cigarette lighter. What you should do is wire it directly to the battery with the proper wiring and fuses. not sure exactly how you wired it up but you should read up on how to do it from here. Hope this helps.

the amp is wired directly to the battery, its the signal cable that was wired to the 12v cig lighter.

if you're talking about the remote turn just use the same one the radio uses.

Yup. The remote should be wired to the radio harness not the lighter.
