Opinions On Next Car
This may be a weird question since I'm sure most of you on this forum still have your RC350 but here goes. My lease is about to be up in November, I'm almost at 30k miles of my 36k allowed so I'll most likely be going over on miles at this rate since I drive about 250 miles a week. In all honesty I love the car, I get a lot of compliments and stares and I would keep it but I want something with a little more power. I have an Ark catback, takeda cai, apexi throttle controller (always on red or purple lol) sitting on 20in Rohanna RC10s and I love the way it drives but I'm sure a lot of you would agree it lacks in acceleration and overall power. The car looks faster than it is lol, I live in LA, I've had everything from Civics to a GTR and Ferrari try to "race" me (majority of the time I'm like no thanks you already win haha). I even feel like my dad's 435i drives the same if not a little faster but maybe that's just me
Anyone that has moved on from your RC what was/is your next car? I'm thinking anything around the same price range or a little more, I can afford a lot more but I'd prefer not to pay so much for a car. I'm even all for a used car, just wanted some ideas.

Years ago I wanted a car with more power, so bought one. It was no fun... Car had about 385hp, but I hardly ever had the chance to use this horsepower potential when driving around town, or on the freeway, without attracting speeding tickets! Wound up using maybe only 30% of the available horses 95% of the time, and that made driving frustrating, since the suspension was set up for fast, past speed limit speeds.
It's more fun to drive a slow car fast up to it's limits, than driving a fast car way below it speed potential.

what I considered when I bought my Rc350.
Avoid high cost maintenance needy cars like BMW (example... electric water pump at 90K miles that is ungodly expensive)
Desired normally aspirated engine (I put lots of miles per year on my cars. I had a turbo in the past and it caused lots of other work to be needed for the repair after it failed.
I wanted something luxurious but sporty.
The RC350 was just right for me

My RC350 story:
After a series of "used cars that I could afford" I finally bought a 2001 Acura 3.2CL Type S, and loved it. Drove it 160K miles over the next 14 years or so until it needed a new ($3K+) transmission. Time for her to go. The Lexus NX was new, I was intrigued, and I thought I wanted an SUV, so I pulled the trigger on that. But two-plus years in I wanted back into a sport coupe.
Looked at a new 2017 RC350, but the dealer had a CPO RC350 F-Sport that they "were trying to get rid of" with only 15K miles on it. Boom!
And here I am now, eight months later and very happy with my decision.

If your looking to change things up, then I would look at a used Giulia Quadrifoglio or GT350 with a manual.

Agreed. Used RC-F is a no-brainer at that price. Waiting until the dead of winter to get one can probably save you a few grand more.

Yea so far after researching for a while I think I might get a used RC F. There's a few used under 50k and I really don't dig any other vehicles in this price range. I just can't leave Lexus reliability and the car is so nice the RC F would be a nice little upgrade for what looks to be lower payments going the used route.
Not sure if anyone is interested in my exhaust, intake, or throttle controller but I'm planning on returning my RC to stock within the next month or two so let me know if you're interested and in SoCal.
