Ah!...
now at 621 miles. break in over. now i can use the full potential of the dark side of the force.
Bondurant course July 9,2007!
bicyclists and kiddies in the street beware!!!!!!!

Going past the break in period does not make the car bulletproof. To me there is no such thing as break in periods if you're gonna thrash it. Sure things will wear out sooner if you dont comply with the break in period, but how much sooner and are you gonna keep the car forever? Then again there is the warranty...

One advice: don't just get out the driveway today and start flooring it! Easily, increase the RPMs as you drive everyday and then after few days or so, start having fun!

so the break in period is only about 600 miles?
because ive put 700 miles on my is.
just wondering if i should wait till 1k.
also i was wondering about my first oil change. i have a dealer sticker for a free
change in 6 months or 5k miles. should i be waiting that long?

According to the manaul it says the break in period is actually 625 mileages, but I will wait for 1k for mine.

Ya you should wait that long for an oil change
