IS350 owner question for Tanabe Exhaust RC350 Owners
I am getting ready to sell my Apexi axle back for my 2017 IS and switch to the Tanabe axle back for the RC350 (the quad tips fit the 2017 IS new diffuser) and have already confirmed plug and play fitment. I am getting rid of the Apexi because the N1 muffler design is crazy loud and has some drone.
Has anyone who has the Tanabe had to switch it out or take it off. I am hoping the Tanabe will be quieter than the Apexi as the muffler design is different and the Tanabe has some packing in the muffler vs a straight through design like the Apexi.
I had the Tanabe on my IS250 and loved it but the extra liter of displacement and the quad tip design is sure to change the sound vs what I experienced on my IS250.
Thanks for the help.

i think i fit into this criteria. i found the stock RC350 to be way too quiet and wanted a bit of growl out the back end. bought the tanabe, and it turns out i prefer the stock quietness more. i've never been in a car that had just an aftermarket exhaust (either heavily modded or stock), so i didn't really know what i was getting myself into. but by aftermarket exhaust standards, the tanabe is supposed to be the quietest. i plan to post mine up on the classifieds soon... so if you're interested, feel free to shoot me a PM
