Silver with red interior is offering about 7% discount off MSRP plus the 5,000 lease cash. Nebula grey with black interior is offering 9% discount off MSRP plus 5,000 lease cash, but is 2 hours from my house. Just wondering how these numbers compare to yours. I know a lot depends on fees, etc. , which are generally outrageous. Also, if you don’t mind, please explain how the higher dealer fees (the one that was offering you 11,400 total discount) impact the lease end charges (as opposed to the front end charges. Thanks so much. Just trying to learn as much as I can.
Kathy, Lexus of Orlando (Winter Park). I’ll have to go back and look at the exact number but I’m paying $479 with zero out of pocket. A true sign and drive. Sounds like the 9% plus $5k lease cash is very similar to my deal.Orlando has no dealer fee which can reduce your payment by $30 or so compared to Autonation and their $995 fee.Don’t worry about the distance, they delivered my car to me in Tampa at no extra charge!!

Jim,
Thanks so much! Such great information. Yes, my 9% plus $5000 lease cash is also with Winter Park. But your deal is way better than mine ($479 with zero down vs. $500 with $2,500 down). I’m going to ask them to do better. I’m in Tampa too. it would be great to get them to deliver the car to me. I find them a little hard to deal with, and I’m nervous about driving over there and then they change the deal. If they bring it to me, there’s no risk. Did they ever give you your quote in writing? They told me they won’t do it because they are afraid of me taking it to a local dealer to match and then they lose the sale.

Jim, I totally forgot to ask you....... how many months was your lease and how many miles do you get? Obviously, this makes a big difference on price. Thanks again.

36m/12k $500 with $2500 down seems steep. No my deal wasn’t in writing. I emailed them with my proposal and stuck to it. Best Tampa dealer could was $511 sign and drive.

Jim,
I so hate to keep bothering you, but you are a wealth of information! My deal is actually 39 month/15k per year, because I have a pretty long commute. Even though I have more miles, since I did the 39 month I would think the payment would maybe be similar to yours. Was Lexus of Wesley Chapel open when you were looking?

i got 26% off sticker on my leftover 2016 rc350 f sport in march this year. my understanding is there are way less leftover MY2017 cars than MY2016, so taht may affect supply and pricing, but at this point, i wouldnt settle for anything less than 20% off sticker just to account for depreciation.

Thanks so much for weighing in. Supply is limited. I searched every dealership in the State of Florida and there are two dealerships that have my preferred options. One dealership has 1 car, the other dealership has about 7 cars. Neither one is offering close to 20% off MSRP. I must be a really bad negotiater. 😊😊.

Its very different compared to leftover 2016 models because Lexus scaled back production on the MY2017s. For me, i started looking at used rc350s but realized a new fully loaded 2016 f sport was cheaper than any 2015 used one. I would shop around, even out of state if needed, but a quick check around dealers does show limited supply. Good luck!

i tried to, but brokers only have a specific network of dealerships that they work with. also, generally speaking, the potential for a great deal is less because of the middle man, but it can make shopping for a car much easier. have you considered shopping out of state?

See a 2017 RC-350 I like to purchase asap, but dealership only taking 20% off MRSP. It's a used car, but only 5000 miles on it. It this a decent price, or should I wait?

why only limit yourself to Florida? I leased cars as far as North Dakota and had it shipped with split fees. In snow states they are far more inclined to deal when rwd cars aren’t selling in the snow

i expect 20% off a NEW 2017 leftover. They must smell your desperation and blood in the water..

search on cars.com across the US and have it transported to your door

Lexus dealership does smell my desperation, since he has the only RC-350 in the area with the options I want. I'll look into cars.com and see what their prices are.
Thanks for the reply!
