Post Lease Deals? New Owner?

Hi,

I'm looking into leasing a Lexus within the next few months. I have a few questions, when are the RC's going to be on sale? I'm particularly interested in the RC350 F-Sport. When are the 2018 model going to start rolling out? When should I be able to get a good deal on a Lexus? What month should I be looking at to get a deal at? Please help me out, hopefully I look forward to joining this forum and being active if I do get the car. I was looking at this thread here which was created in November of 2015 which stated that they want to get rid of the 2015 models as the 2016 models are arriving. When should that be happening for the 2018 model?

I'd be interested in doing the following:
Putting $5,000 down upfront

What monthly payment do you think I should have if I did put $5k down? I want 10k/yearly.
My credit score is in the 700's as well.

Lease and finance deals are happening NOW thru the 31st on some Lexus models, including the RC. 2018 models are due out in September, I think. Google "Lexus Golden Opportunity Sales Event"
to see specific details for each model.

you're probably not going to see as many leftover models like you saw for the first two model years because they supposedly scaled back production quite a bit starting w/ MY17s.

I certainly would NOT put down $5K up front just to lower your monthly payment unless it's going in as a security deposit to lower the money factor.

yup. If you get in an accident and totals the car, quickest way losing $5k

Not sure how RC are doing now. But I got my 2015 lease when people were getting 6k off MSRP.

I ended up paying roughly 12.4k for my 2 year lease.10k/yr. 53,xxx MSRP.
