Default Right price for RC-350 F sport?

Hello fellow Lexus Lovers,

I'm looking at purchasing a 2017 RC-350 F sport.

MSRP is $57,244. The dealership is offering to sell it to me at "dealer cost" for $53,787. Lexus is a new brand for me so I don't know if this is a good deal, or not.

Opinions?

I thought you just bought a LC. Now you want a RC? Fancy!

No, that is not a good price. RC is not selling well at all. I've seen 15% off MSRP. Then I was told even 15% off isn't good enough since 2018 RC is coming very soon. And again, they are not selling and super over priced.

I forgot to mention that Lexus is offering a $3000 rebate on this car, which brings the price down to $50K. What say you, now?

I would go minimum 15%, but its just me. I am stingy lol I probably wouldn't even buy a brand new RC coz it's not worth it.
Do expect 30%+ value loss in one year or so. It is really your decision. If you are located at Portland area, there is only one dealer to choose from. Hence, the dealer can be pain in the @ss. However, if you take WA into consideration, then you got way more options and usually way better price. 3 more dealers around Seattle area -- lots of competition.

I paid $50k for a loaded pre-owned with 5000 miles on it at Kuni, so yeah, that's a good deal.

A friend of mine traded in his loaded RC350 with 5K mile : 41K ...
You super super super super over paid for a 2015 RC 350, some people actually got a low mileage RCF with a little bit over 50K.

If you are looking to just purchase outright, then definitely hold off for a bit until the 2018's come out. You won't even need to negotiate. Last year we had an additional $8k in dealer cash and were selling the 2016's for 10-12k discount no problem.

$50k was $1k under bluebook at the time, and Kuni doesn't haggle on CPO prices. Things may be different now a year and a half later though.

I bought a CPO 2015 in South Florida with 14,000 miles for $35,000 in October of 2016.

I got my '16 RC300 FSport AWD with BSM, PA, and Cold Weather Package for $40K in March of this year. With the struggling sales I am worried Lexus may just off this whole RC idea.
