I have had experience with Tanabe and ARK.

Tanabe: Looks nice, easy install (axle back), very mellow sporty sound.
ARK: Looks really nice with burnt tips, catback (HP gains), much louder and meaner sounding than the Tanabe.

I highly recommend ARK!

Not sure where in Texas you are located, but I would look into Kinney's muffler shop, I went from a tanabe straight to their custom street demon, sounds meaner than the ARK as well.
