Default Opinions / Thoughts Wanted

I have a 2015 RC350 F Sport currently. I am thinking about buying a 2017 Z51 Corvette. Neither car is my daily driver and I was just wanting thoughts and opinions on this. Is it worth it? I sold my 76 Vette last spring and I know they have come a long way since then, Not sure if anyone on here has owned the C7 Vette or has an opinion

I also looked into getting a stingray/vert and trade in the RCF. If it wasn't for the steep depreciation, low ball trade in offer and chevy lacking in discounting on the msrp (even though that dealer have over 10 17' corvettes and 3 leftovers), I would have gotten one. The quality is dramatically improved and the power is something else with the power/weight ratio.

I don't understand the reasoning behind trading in a car that has bulletproof reliability for a car that crappy reliability long term! Does not make sense!

I may be able to give you some advice my second car is a 1996 GrandSport Corvette. My every day car is my RC 300 Fsport awd.
My Vette was purchased new by me and is 21 years old it has 45000 miles. I drive it hard and it has been quite reliable for me (I do my own repairs). From a performance aspect even though it is 21 years old it blows my Lexus away. But only performance wise!!
I have driven a C6 Z06 and it was awesome, fast with great handling and fantastic brakes a completely different car than the Lexus. The C7 Stingray I drove was also very nice (460hp).
But don't expect the Vette to be as quiet (occasional rattles and squeaks) as the Lexus. If the Vette
won't be your everyday car I say go for it. Life is too short and if you desire a Corvette have at it.

If it were to be my daily driver I would keep the Lexus. My Lexus is 2 1/2 years old and has 10,000 miles on it. I know reliability between the two is no comparison. I love the looks of the new C7's and the wow factor of driving one. I will only do it if I can get my deal. Attached is the car I am looking at

I'm in the process of researching my next DD as well and so far the RCF is my front-runner. It's hard to beat the bulletproof reliability of a Lexus for a DD.

The C7 is a fantastic vehicle, no doubt, but it's not as practical, and they are all over the place. I rarely see RCF's here in St. Louis.

With that being said, the C7 is a solid performer, especially with a few simple upgrades here and there. They've come such a long way since the C5. That particular one you posted @danh63 looks awesome. White and Black are the best C7 colors IMO.

If you can swing a Z06, go for it! They are a huge best bang for your buck performance wise

Pics for attention, from Craven Performance here in St. Louis

You're better off getting the LC 500.

No the LC500 is more expensive. The one I am looking at is a Z51 2LT. It's a great deal if it works out and I will find out today. I am going this afternoon.
