Hey guys. So i just found out i will be reloacating to Florida. I currently own a 2013 AWD Luxury GS, blk/blk, Blind spot, remote start. She only has 4200 miles and was bought back in May. Since i will be living in Florida i no longer need the AWD and i want to do some mods like lowering springs and exhaust which from the looks of things are only being spec'd out for the RWD. So figured i would see what the financials would look like if traded in my AWD Lux package for RWD Lux or Fsport. my car brand new retailed for 59K, i got her with TTL for 56K. Dealer offered me 46K for her ths weekend. a little insulting, but i knew i would be taking loss if i traded her in. Kicker was dealer told me they may be expecting a 2013 Fsport RWD that a guy was wanting to trade in for a new LS. This Fsport had over 6k miles and no blind spot monitor. Dealer was going to sell it to me for 51K. Anyway, just putting that info out there for anybody who may be in my position.

 

BSM is a must, I would take the car down here and trade it in here. At least in my area the dealers are stacked. Living in south Miami, alot of people care about their "status" so the dealers flow cars out quite quickly.

 

do not settle for 46K. that's ridiculous... 50K+ sounds much better.

 

FWIW, After three weeks of ownership I was able to sell my 4GS with 250 miles back to the dealership for mid 50's. I had everything you have minus the remote starter. As expected I still took a hit though.
