Has anyone heard anything about the next RC refresh? Whether it be the engine, body, interior, etc...

 

Should expect to see a refreshed RC for the 2018MY. It seems like Lexus refreshes models around 3-4 years. Expect to see revised exterior styling and new larger infotainment screen. Probably won't see the new TT V6 (shown in the LS) until the full redesign in 2021.

 

I heard a rumor they may discontinue the RC for lack luster sales.

 

With how much R&D that went into the RC, I highly doubt Lexus would discontinue the RC before a refresh. The RC will probably go through the normal 8-10 year cycle before discussions of discontinuation.

 

the 2018 will have safety system plus standard. no exterior refresh

 

Expect similar changes that the 2017 IS received (bigger screen, safety system standard, etc.)

 

I love the fins on the rear bumper!
