Default Radar detector plug in location? Help

I own a rcf, trying here since more owners and similar vehicle layout.

I can't find a place to plug in my radar detector. There is no cigarette outlet or any outlet plugin near the passenger side. Am I over looking anything or Lexus decided owners shouldn't smoke and only installed 1 plugin in the glove box?

Thanks for input

Depending on your detector model get a Mirror Tap. Here is a link to the DIY section for what I did and others. https://www.clublexus.com/forums/rc-1st-gen-2015-present/778365-radar-detector.html

Unless you tap into something at top center, you will have to run a wire around the edge of the windshield, which is very easy. I have spent a lot of time in a lot of cars finding switched power and running cords (phone cords) to the detector's location, usually to the right of the mirror. Finding a switched power line at top center gets harder all the time; it's usually easier to find one in the passenger footwell or the center console. I have a V-1, and the best accessory for supplying power to a V-1 is the relatively new control box that plugs into the computer port in the driver's footwell. Not only does it have a plug for the power cord that powers the detector, it has a wheel so that you can set a speed below which the detector does not sound an alarm. Installing my V-1 in my RC350 took me about 5 minutes total. In my RX, I tapped into the lighter cord in the console, and ran the wire through the glove box and up around the windshield for an invisible installation, allowing me to use the V-1 in either car. I do not have experience with these devices which use the power lines at the mirror but they look interesting. However, the best place for a detector is high on the windshield, so I use the suction cup bracket affixed to the right of the mirror.
Finally, if you find a lead in the mirror area that is easily accessible, be sure to post that information, especially the color of the wire, here, as there are many users who will find that information helpful.

I'm a bit confused. So I can purchase this accessory from Valentine radar and plug in the footwell, but where does the radar go or stay? Could you send me a picture and part number? Greatly appreciated

You buy the part directly from Valentine only. It's easy to find on their web page.
The part (I forget its name) plugs into the computer port, under the dash to the left of the steering wheel. The part has a power outlet (switched) and an "accessory" outlet. You use the power cord that came with the V-1 or any 4 conductor phone wire; plug one end into the device and one end into the V-1. This is the cord that stays in place and you simply run it around the windshield, pushing it out of sight. The "ACC" outlet on the device is for the remote readout box, another accessory. When this is plugged in, the lights and arrows on the V-1 go dark and the smaller set of lights and arrows on the accessory light up. This is what I use, placing the small remote set of arrows on the shelf on the far left of the dash, above the outlet; this puts a mute button very close to me and puts the arrows right in my line of sight.
Highly recommended.
See the V-1 web page for more details.

This is the exact same setup I have in my Camry and will transfer to my new RC350. The Valentine unit that plugs into the OBD port is called Savvy https://store.valentine1.com/store/ . I second tfischers use of the V1 remote display. Other people (drivers, police, thieves) can barely see the V1 head unit tucked up high near the mirror, and it's display is not on if using the remote display located near the instrument panel in plain view of the driver only.Plus the higher installation of the head unit is better to pick up radar. Laser is picked up better with a lower mounted detector but really there is not much reaction time with laser.
I was thinking about trying one of Passports new Max 360 detectors with the arrows but the remote display is on the power plug and as you know for RC drivers is not going to work.
I just don't like having the detector light up on the dash especially when police are behind you plus it just invites other drivers to tag along behind you.

Picked up my mirror tap at Amazon and used the rear view mirror for power.
My RC has the rain sensor plus all the other powered Accessories on it.
Once you've removed the access cover and disconnect the pin connector.
You will find three colored wires. Green , White and Red
Red is power and White the ground.
Easy as pie

Uniden R7. I love this thing used windshield suction mount for a while until it kept falling (both in extreme heat and blistering cold weather). Now I use the blendmount. It's mega sturdy! Far more reliable. Tapped into the mirror. Super easy to do. Took all of 1 minute to tap and took 10 mins to get the Blendmount positioned exactly how I wanted it to be leveled and aimed. Super easy.

I like that RED start/stop button. Did you put that in, or did it come with the red seats?
I have a very dull and unexciting 350, non-F, so my Start button is appropriately grey, but I'd love to change it. Can that be done?

I am also looking for one of these red buttons. It is aftermarket, doesn't come with the red interior. It also doesn't look like the unfortunately pricey TRD one. Would love to find out about an alternative option to that.

I searched for "red button" and all I found was:

Red Buttons was an American actor and comedian. He won an Oscar and a Golden Globe for his supporting role in the 1957 film Sayonara.
Brings back memories. . . .
