Default Any type of window protection from rockchips out there?

Just recently moved to Texas, and I live around a high trucker volume route.

Damn truckers are constantly bringing rocks through, and this area is notorious for people getting rock chip damage.

Yes, I keep hella distance from truckers and have an appt to get Xpel clearbra tomorrow, but I already have 3 small nicks on my window from rocks.

Was wondering if there is any type of application like clearbra for windows?

Thanks

Not that I'm aware of. Even XPEL will have dents and tears from bigger rocks hitting it, as I've found out.

Stay away from 18 wheelers! I also live in Houston (ROLL CALL) and I don't have any. I just keep away from them and drive slowly.

You could try to put a glass coating on it like CQuartz or something similar

Look up clear bra. My cousin installed it for Crown Lexus in Ontario CA.
It's not cheap, but it really works.
It's a clear protective wrap that is applied to all foward facing paint areas on vehicle

http://www.clearplex.com/

I have it on my car. It's made specifically for windshields. Seems to be thicker than normal PPF.

In a matter of time they will appear. Lexus glass is super soft.
