Default What coloring scheme for wrapping trim and front parts of car

Hello all,

Next Tuesday I am having my trim wrapped and some odds and ends (red part of tails, spoiler, etc.)

I am going glossy black around windows, and going to have the front chrome done in glossy black as well around grill. They are removing my bumper to wrap this stuff. They are a well known wrap company in NJ (regularly wrapping exotics, etc).

Now the chrome will be glossy black, however, I am torn about doing the middle section of the aluminum in glossy black (which is the ONLY way I have seen it done on every other car to date) or doing it in a carbon fiber wrap (top quality 3M stuff looks beyond real). I think CF could look really good and split the 2 up, I mean stock they 2 are split up in color and on the RCF its more of a grey color.

I am also going to wrap my OEM spoiler in carbon fiber wrap, so hence why I wanted to do the aluminum piece across the front bumper... what are your thoughts on how this would look?

I have a really nice thick Carbon fiber license plate holder, so the CF spoiler will match the rear well.

Stock below... Chrome trim and then the aluminum colored piece that goes across:

Here is a pic of rear with CF plate... spoiler will be done in CF and blacking out the little red lights at bottom of bumper and the red part of tail lights will be black:

I left mine chrome and did gloss black on the bottom. I think if I went CF it would have to be glossy CF.

I'd like to do the chrome parts into a darker chrome like the RCF does. I don't like the shiney chrime, but I believe the dark tinted chrome keeps the classy look to the car.

Also I want to do something with the bottom lip that looks aluminium, but im not sure what though.

Went with black on the front (chrome and aluminum pieces).

Decided not to tint the red on the tails because I didn't want too much of a halloween effect.

I did get the spoiler wrapped in CF film, and they are going to black out the bottom little red lights and obviously glossy black the window trim.

I pick her up tomorrow afternoon. I will try and get some pics up asap :-)

Finished product. Goodbye chrome. Carbon Fiber on the spoiler.

Looks good front and rear, and rear spoiler mimics the GS F's real CF one.
