Yes I was a complete dumb a#$ and took my wifes es 350 to a drive thru car wash. NEVER AGAIN.
scuffed one of the rims. Now I take it to my dealership for the complimentary wash.
Ill be honest i hate washing a car, i can't really recall the last time i have washed my own car. The worst part is drying it, i just do not do a good job at it. I've ran my other cars through automatic washes but i wont do it with the RC due to the side skirts and i just dropped it. I have a guy i call and he comes once a week or so and washes a few of our cars. Price is reasonable, $20 a car.
So did you damage your wheel ?
I use this product called CarPro Hydro2. It's a sealant that makes everything bead up. Takes like 5 min to apply to the whole car (you need a pressure washer). After applying the sealant while the car is still wet and after the car wash, you can literally take a leaf blower and blow the water right off in seconds. Or you can use the sheeting method. This is when you place your mf towel onto the surface of the car and pull the towel. No pressure needed and it will dry your car completely.
