Took my car to guy on La Cienega called 3C Performance. Cut off my pipes after my resonators and put 2.5 inch piping rather than the stock 1.5 inch and put elite mufflers. For me personally, it was too loud and wasn't the sound I was looking for so I swapped the elites for flowmasters and I'm loving it. The engine sounds deep at low RPMs and is that perfect sound gain that the RC was lacking. The exhaust crackles at downshifts in between 3000 and 4000 RPM. I also had them paint the mufflers paint to give it a clean look and put burnt quad tips to top it off. What do you guys think?

 

This is very helpful info. I like the fact that you did not settle, until you got just what you wanted from the mod. I am so tempted to mod the exhaust, but have the fear of being stuck with a change that I may not like. Having absorbed info from all the other exhaust threads... I will be interested to see the coming pics and maybe some video so we can hear your preference.
