I may be wrong, but I do recall reading an article a while back about Costco gasoline. Costco use to purchase lower tier gasoline from their supplier to make themselves competitive. But as the business grew, they've become much better at negotiating prices and changed their supplier to a top tier gasoline supplier.
My personal preference is to not buy gasoline at Costco. Not because of the gasoline quality, but because of the long line and wait time... you either have to start/stop your car multiple times or you let it run idle... nether is a scenario I like to put my car through. So for me its Shell, Mobil, Chevron, or 76.
There is hardly ever a long line at Sam's Club gas.
Sam's Club Gasoline is not Top Tier Gas. I wouldn't even consider it. See toptiergas.com for a full list of retailers.
Price is same at Costco in Roseville. Biggest Costco gas station I've even seen....very quick because there are so many pumps (brand new gas addition to older Costco).
Truth be told, my husband gets my gas for me. It's just something he's always done...just like taking care of all the maintenance. He hates Sam's Club (refuses to walk inside a Walmart). He always gets gas at Costco anyway....I just happen to be at Sam's today and noticed the gas prices. But they are the same at Costco not two miles away.

I am new to the group so please be nice and patient with me especially if I am doing this incorrectly. I own a 2015 RC 350 obsidian black which I purchased Certified Pre-Owned. My gas cover has suddenly started not latching. It clicks but does not latch. So the spongy accordion looking thingy works but not the small black latch that holds it in place.
Has anyone else had this prob? Can you offer any tips or direction?
