Default Driver's Seat Question

When you pull the lever at the top of the seat to fold the seat down shouldn't the seat slide forward for the drivers seat?

Once I pull the lever and pull the seat forward, the seat automatically motors towards the steering wheel.

Thanks for the confirmation. Going to drop by the dealership after work for them to take a peek. Got to get them to look at the CD/DVD player too since I popped in Fast 5 in it last night to see how it looks on the screen and its not working either. Small details

Both sides should pull forward after you tilt the seats

Ok popped by the dealership on the way home and the fix was the following:

1. Set seat to desired driving position then set to Memory 1.
2. Slide seat all the way towards the back seat as far as possible.
3. Recline seat back as far as possible to the rear.
4. Press Memory 1 to bring seat back to driving position.
5. Pull lever and fold seat towards front and the seat will slide forward.

This works for front or passenger seat if they stop sliding forward when folding seat back.

Hope I explained that ok

Sorry got to the dealer when they were closing the service bay so I only got them to fix the seat. They tell me they have seen a few cars with this issue and they just need to hook it up to one of their scanners to fix the problem. Please let me know if you get it resolved before I go back in mid May to the dealer.

FYI: Just make sure the vehicle is in park and the parking brake is applied. I could't get a picture on mine and after some research it confirmed that the parking brake needed to be engaged. I'm thinking the next purchase will be the Prestigious Society Navigation and Video Enhancement kit. I had it on my 08 LS460 and it worked great.
