Tires Continental DWS 245-30-20, 275-30-20
Droped on Tanabe NF210 for the 4GS

Looks stunning. That front tire looks like a rubber band. I would probably upsize to a 245/35/20, it would fill the gap a little better and ride better as well. Do you think a 35 series tire would rub? The reason I ask is because I am going to do a wheel upgrade soon and am looking at the different offsets now to see which way I want to go.

I don't want to go 245-35 up front because I want plenty of room. I don't want no rubbing period. I want to keep it as light as I can too. If I had a 9 inch width wheel I would go with 255-30 but I have 8.5.

Funny part is, dude just said the front tire looks like it's on a rubber band.

Meanwhile, I'm over here thinking "You know, I almost feel like I might go with a 21" wheel after seeing these shots" lol.

Perspective, I guess. Maybe instead of a larger wheel I'll just go with a slightly bigger drop.

A 1.5 drop would make it look way better.
But I like the 1 inch drop. I can drive without worrying about bottoming out over dips.
I'm too old to think about anything other than enjoying the ride.

I am really digging Black Cherry but I have a big negative.
Too many people taking pics and videos.
I'm happy people like the car but sometimes it is annoying. I can deal with most of it but the people who take videos while driving scare the crap out of me. Twice, people have almost caused serious accidents trying to get vids from all sides while driving. Doing crazy maneuvers to get shots from left, right, front and back while in traffic. I couldn't risk my life and others just to get pics and videos of a car. This ain't no Ferrari!

I don't know what opticoat is.
I have used Turtle Wax soap for over 30 years. I ran out last week and bought another soap with wax in it. Can't remember the name but it work pretty good. It's either Black Magic or Armor all soap. Used it today and Black Cherry looks pretty good. Time for a wax job though. Starting to see swirls. In 4 months I've waxed it only once. That's unusual for me.

That's crazy! The culture of people is entirely the opposite out here. Sure my car gets looks, but nothing like you describe. They have plenty of Ferraris, Lambos, Astons, etc. to drool over here.

That's why I'm so surprised. Here in south Florida, we have all the big boys too. But I must admit, a black sport coupe on 20's does look hot. Especially with many people not knowing what it is.

Today I got a flat. I came out to watch the worker work on my car. 4 guys are standing around my car drooling all over it. They quickly dispersed after I approached. One gave a compliment. Another guy went completely ape-crap. He must have thought it was the F cause he said he heard it was fast. The 3rd guy couldn't even do his job right. The 4th guy just kept repeating how hot it was.

It's just a car, it's just a car I kept telling them.
