Default Rear Cup Holders??

I wanted to check to see if anyone has rear cup holders in the RC350/ FSport other than the RC F.

I contacted the dealer in parts department in Raleigh with no clean success clarifying if this was option or not.

I haven't seen any rear cup holders in my RC350 F-Sport.

Holy crap... I just noticed I had a back seat. Wow. No cup holders back there.

My sister noticed it when she sat in the back seat.

I told her "There will be no drinks in this car. Don't be silly."

No cup holders in the back seat of my RC; no passengers in the back seat; no drinks in the back seat. Hell, there's hardly a back seat in the back seat, and I have no problem with that. If they want a refreshing beverage back there, they can snuggle it in their crotch like we did back when, and keep it warm (or chilled, in some cases) that way.

It's not in the center armrest like most cars? That's kind of a weird feature for Lexus to omit...

I've been driving a lot of cars for a long time and I don't recall any back seat passenger ever complaining of no place to put his or her cup. I don't think this is a big deal, and is certainly not a factor in the purchase decision. Frankly, keeping beverages out of the back seat is an admirable goal.

The cup holder is inside the drawer compartment on the RC F. You need to slide the drawer back to see the two cup holders.

Well, instead of a useless cup holder back there in my RC350, I get a useless sandwich tray.

I called the the Lexus parts department in Raleigh NC , The parts Rep told me that the RC F was a totally different car than the RC and this is why it wasn't offered in RC350/Sport. I was like WOW, but i let her tell me her view on the omitting of the cup holder. ( We all know that these cars are on the same chassis). I asked her, what was the cost of the cup holder for the the RC-F then... approximately $200 if I wanted to order one.
I guess, Lexus may add this option for a 2016 RC350/Sport. LOL.
