Default Question about Nav

I'm getting to know more and more about my car everyday..

One thing - is there anyway to set the screen, when the car turns on automatically to the home screen rather than the navigation?

I've looked all over but cannot find this setting

I spoke with a Technology Specialist yesterday about the same thing, and the answer is no. When using the Home screen (Button) upon start-up the screen always defaults to NAV.

What you can do when in the Home screen is select the radio. When it is full size and the vehicle is shut off, and then restarted the screen will show the radio screen upon start-up. You can then switch to the Home screen, but have to go to another screen when shutting down the vehicle.

Yea I know what a pain.

Yes but you can split the screen to show audio or compass or any other screen along with the navigation. I show my Bluetooth and nav and compass. Sometimes I show. 3 at once. Don't forget, if you have the f sport , you can also go into sport mode, and the bezel on your speedometer with slide to the right and you can see even more information. Lots of technology in this car

I have mine split also that shows the radio, compass, and range, but when the car is shut off and restarted the darn screen defaults to the NAV screen. I guess no way around that. The bezel shifting over is way cool IMHO, and I use it a lot too.
