I owned a 2005 G35 6MT and had to move to a Accord Sedan due to population explosion within the house, lol. Now the kids are older I can get back into a coupe. Very excited to be a part of the Lexus family. Now the wait for delivery.

They had a black on black FSport in the showroom. It was absolutely gorgeous. Also, from the rear, the stock FSport 19" rims/wheels look pretty meaty. I still may go with wider rims/tires at some point but I have to say I'm very pleased with the way Lexus put the RC FSport together.

 

You either chose Flaxen or Playa, which one?

Sorry, I was copying/pasting from the Lexus printout they gave me.

The RC 350 FSport only offers 4 interiors: Playa, Stratus Gray, Black, and Rioja Red. I think their ordering system just listed it that way.

I ordered mine with Playa interior.

Congrats on the purchase and squeezing out $1k from the MSRP, which is no mean feat on a special order!

 

RC350 F Sport does not have USB 2.0, just USB. Only the RCF has 2.0

 

The playa and flaxen interiors are pretty close to each other. When I told my salesman to find me one in Infrared, I indicated that either flaxen or playa (what ever happened to the cinnamon?) would be fine. I got the flaxen and it's a great color with the red. Playa is a lot lighter, which makes it a bold fashion statement with the darker or bolder colors like the Blue. By the way, with the blue, like the Infrared, seriously consider Xpel, as that special paint process will not be an easy touchup.

 

Actually, I just checked. The USB for the F and FSport both show Ultra Sonic Blue Mica 2.0

[They charge $595 for that paint selection. It charges the $595 for USB 2.0 for FSport and the F.

I think they do the same for the Infrared color as well.

 

Yes. My Infrared was $595 extra and well worth it. The USB (actually it should be UB, as Ultrasonic is one word - actually it should be UBM, as the name used by Lexus is "Ultrasonic Blue Mica") is the same price, but the UBM is not available on the base RC350, but the Infrared (IFR?) is available on all three versions. Well worth it for the red; I have not seen the blue yet, other than in photos. I do, however, have USB Audio, and that works great.

 

did not know that. When you build a RC FSport on the website it says USB, but when you build an RCF it says USB 2.0

 

Even the inventory search from Lexus.com for 350 RC FSport shows in my area...

That UB color seems fantastic. I've not seen one in person, but they look great in pictures. In fact, I've only seen my Infrared RC in the 2 1/2 months that I've owned mine.
