Default Performance Upgrades, What's Available?

So I love the RC but I don't love the extra weight nor the lack of acceleration in comparison to my 2009 IS350 which feels so much faster.

With that, since the engine is a carryover from 2006, what performance parts can net a few HP/TRQ?

Nothing much. Besides intakes and exhaust, that's about it. I think Joe Z Performance have an exhaust and intake developed for the RC already. Someone with their IS350 dynoed their car with exhaust and intake, and results showed 18 hp and 22 lb/ft increase.

Tuners haven't really been able to crack the ECU, so no significant HP/TQ increases. Also, since there is no forced induction, it's even more difficult to increase performance. There were some turbos and superchargers in the works, but it was too costly and they weren't really put into production. So...there aren't any reliable performance enhancement for this engine, even though it's been out for so many years.

Do you have a link where to buy them? I messaged them on FB and they have not responded yet, and I can't seem to find an email anywhere.

Seems like you can go through Carson Toyota. Here's an email that they have on the website that is being worked on.

I can't believe nobody makes performance parts for a car that has been so popular over the years (IS250/350) that is........very disappointing that there isn't much you can do to bump up the performance numbers.

There's also an F-sport intake that increases 7HP
