Default What do you love/hate about your RC?

Thought I could start a thread where we post the things we love about the car. This way we can appreciate for what we have in the car and look to improve upon things we don't like.

I LOVE the fact that the instrument cluster can shift to the right! Also the ambient lighting on the doors are cool as well

Dislike the off-line acceleration (and the carried over 3.5L engine), 221lbs extra weight over previous 2IS, and extra wide center grill in comparison to the RCF. While I still love the car I am disappointed with these three things and it makes me wonder if a mid-cycle engine upgrade would happen since they've carried over this engine from 2006 (that's a long time to keep an engine).

I just noticed there aren't any tweeters on the doors or pillars. I think they use the center speakers for the highs.

This engine started in 2007. Which is still too long.
HP should be nothing less than 350.

I hate that it defaults to Eco every time I start the car and that I have to remember to switch it to Sport +. Love everything else about the car.

I believe if you shut the car off in Normal mode it will start up in that mode and not Eco. Normal does give you much better throttle response than Eco mode. The IS's work that way

So do the GS's. If you shut of the car in Normal mode it starts in Normal mode.

What do you mean by normal mode? Sport? I only have Eco, Sport and Sport +. I haven't tried to leave in sport, I will try that tomorrow. Still doesn't help though as I use Sport + almost exclusively. I love the tight suspension and steering settings. It should just stay in the mode you left it in.

Ah ok, thanks. Didn't even know it existed. I need to dig deeper in the manual than I have so far I guess.

Is there a way to mute the navigation when you're on a phone call or do you have to go into the menu and mute it? I don't see that option anywhere.

From my experience with the GS, there is no way to mute the Navigation system during a phone call. You would have to delete the route.
