Default Rear Camber Arm - Opinion Needed

Hi Folks,

I'm thinking about installing the SPC Adjustable Rear Camber Arms on my RC350.
I had these installed on my GS because the camber was outside spec. (I couldn't salvage them unfortunately).

The RC is within spec, but I'd prefer to be more on the positive side of the camber spec for the purpose of maximizing tire life.
I do have the RR Racing lower control arm bushings installed in the front suspension.

Thoughts please. Is it worth installing the camber arms if I'm within spec? Will adding 1° or so of positive camber help with tire wear?

Thanks

No need if you're in spec, arms good when you need more adjustments.

Thanks for the reply, I appreciate it!
I'll keep an eye on the tire wear and see how it goes.

Went down to 1.5 degrees after coilovers because I was wearing down the inner half of the rear tires faster. Tires wear much better but noticed slightly more instability at highway speeds

Thanks for the reply.
I’m not lowered, and don’t plan to be lowered. I wonder if adjusting to -1.5 at stock height would cause the slight instability you mention?

Well, if you’re not “spiritedly driving” at highway speeds over 85, you don’t really notice. I’d rather have my rear tires last more than 15k miles lol than have slightly more stability when toying with a scatpack on my drive home. As someone who enjoys the car, the camber arms were SO worth it for me even with the MINOR difference in feel.

Also book time for the arms is around 8 hours and calls for removing the subframe. They’re a 30 minute job MAX, the alignment is the tricky part, so don’t let a shop scam you.

What is that alignment sheet from? Because that is out of spec and could use camber arms.

Alignment was from the local Lexus dealer.

Service manual says AWD rear camber (-1.88° +/- 0.75°) so maximum negative would be -2.63
