Default 2018 rc 350 AC problems

Am I the only rc owner with ac problems?
after extensive searching online and on here I can find no RC AC issues.

Anyways, middle right side and passenger side blowing hot while AC is on. It reverts back over time. But as soon as my wife uses dual control r if i turn on defrost with recirculation it goes hot.

No amount of playing with controls or disconnecting battery changes it back. It changes when it feels like it lol.

Did the basic hold button AC diagnostic that i got from a lexus IS video. Seemed to of work got code 54. Cant find what that is either.

The passenger side control module for the Is is part # 1554 or something like that. Assuming code # 54 could be that.

I was a .echanic for 20yrs i can fix it myself just need to figure out what part it is. I have no diagnostic equipment anymore.

Sorry so long, wanted to give as much info as i could.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

This is also my first post . My name is Eric, 2018 ultra white/ roja red RC 350 fsport RWD

It sounds like the ac servo motor has gone bad, Lexus did a tsb for 2013-2017 vehicles. I would ask your Lexus dealership to see if they would cover your 2018 out of the kindness of their hearts. Just search up "Lexus ac servo motor tsb" there's a lot of information on clublexus too. Here's a Link too.

they won't cover it, I went all the way to Lexus NA for mine. They wouldn't budge.

You need tech stream to figure out which servo motor is bad, then you can either replace it yourself, or have a shop that again has tech stream to replace it.

thanks guys. I already knew about the tsb . And like Jason said, the dealer denied me last year when I tried. Guess I'll download techstream to verify and just do it myself.
