Post Question abouut the RC remote start key

Hi,
New member's here. I just decide to get my 1st ever Lexus in the form of a used 2018 RC 350 f sport. Since this is a first time that i ever own a Lexus, being that buying used making it a little difficult to navigate the stuff (my salesman is a Hyundai, so he doesn't have any knowledge regarding the package and the option the car has). I have a few questions regarding the car that i hope you guys can guide me through. Here they are:
1) is the window sticker, is there a way that i can ask for the manufacture window sticker? Unfortunately, the OG window sticker is nowhere to be found with the car, so i have no idea what package or options this car has.
2) The control board show that the seat has heat and ventilate seat, but when I try to turn it on, only the bottom section of the seat seems to work, is that normal? I though the heat and cool seat suppose to be working for the whole seat?

3) I read in the forum and on Lexus website that since this is a 2018 model, it come with Enform remote for 10 year. Does that refer to the key fob, or is it some kind of app in the phone? Also since this is a used car, can I still claim that option support from Lexus. I do some research in the forum and a few people just install a 3rd party remote start and use it. Is that a better solution?

4) How can I tell if this is a AWD or RWD version of the 350? And does any of them has a major benefit over the other? I live in Texas so there is not really any snow here, so is RWD all I need? Or should I have aim for the AWD instead?

5) I will be using the car daily, and my work is 50 Miles from my house, so it is a long drive every day (100 miles back and forward, and I usually sit in traffic 1.5 hrs each way, luckily, I only have to be onsite 3days a week). Is the RC350 a good comfortable car for that kind of long driving? I did a test drive for 10 mins so can really tell if it is any good yet. My previous car is a Camry.

Thank you for any put, and sorry for a long question.

Congrats on getting the Lexus! I'm not a smart guy when answering these questions, but I'll give you my honest feedback in my own experience from your questions:

1. The Monroney sticker, they usually folded it and put it in the owners manual leather case in the glove box. If it's not there, then I don't know.
2. The heated seats warm from the bottom to the mid back as well as the ventilated seats.
3. Enform is what I believe is a subscription you have to pay to have auto remote start from your phone and via key fob, and if anyone here can correct me if i'm wrong, the remote start no longer works because they're getting rid of the 3G network on the cars? You can install a third party remote start for the car if needed. Just get it professionally done, or try it yourself.
4. The difference between the RWD and AWD is the big hump on the bottom side near the gas pedal. AWD is better if you're worried about too much rain, ice, or snow. In dry, RWD is a good option if you're just wanting to punch the gas pedal in Sport +S and go straight or some good twisties to get that spirited driving feel.
5. My RC 350 is also daily and it is comfortable. I drove from houston to oklahoma city with no complaints. The seats are just mad good. I also took a nap in the car as well.
Hope this helps as these were my own opinion to answer your questions. Someone here will probably explain it better.

RWD. near flat

AWD. There is a big hump.

I'll add on to what giangsturh said,

1) If the original window sticker is not there you can install the Lexus app and register your vehicle to see the service history (only shows Lexus/Toyota dealerships) and the options/packages the car has.

2) The ventilated seats are very weak, having the blower set to feet and high will net the most airflow through the seat. The seat fan sucks up air from a vent under the seat that blows air onto the rear passengers feet.

3) Like giangsturh said, 3g support is gone. You'll have to get aftermarket remote start, just installed mine myself for $125. Even uploaded a tutorial!

4) All AWD RCs have heated steering wheels standard from what I see (long rectangle button besides the heated and cooled seats). They also come with an AWD badge on the back and has a 6 speed instead of an 8 speed. Some come optioned with headlight washers and heated wiper blade areas too. The RWD RC has none of these features. You can't go wrong with either AWD or RWD, just depends if you encounter ice, snow, and rain. I drive my RWD all year round, but I know other would feel safer in a AWD.

5) Took a trip to Chicago from STL and do many trips back home from school. Most comfortable seat out I've sat in, great for road trips!

What Jason above said is correct. I will add that some people have tapped into an A/C duct running under the seat to the rear to direct A/C into the driver’s seat ventilation intake for better cooling. There may be a thread in here of how it’s done and it wasn’t expensive or very difficult iirc. I live in PA so I don’t have extreme heat like you do.
As for the Enform subscription, I bought my AWD 350 in January of 21 brand new. My free subscription ends this coming January (3 years) and I will have to pay $8/ month to keep using remote start and the other features.

My RC350 is 2015 model which has Lexus Enform Remote service terminated since 2022. I just got BestBuy to install Compustar 4905S-Kit (2-way CSX Remote Start System w/LTE module). Installation included for about $400. Monthly subscription via drone mobile for about $5.00 for 3 years. BestBuy Black Friday and "drone mobile" price was the best of the year (I waited for a year ). It just works great so far with pinpoint accuracy of the vehicle location

Compustar 4905S-Kit

I just checked. It's still available at BestBuy. You could cut and paste the link in the quotes " https://www.bestbuy.com/site/compust...7795&affgroup= "

It could be cheaper on Black Friday if you could wait.

Default Well, not really.....

Jason712"4) All AWD RCs have heated steering wheels standard from what I see (long rectangle button besides the heated and cooled seats)."

This is incorrect. My 2015 AWD 350 RC does NOT have a heated steering wheel. There is no rectangle button....
